Kelsey Dovico
Interfaith Spiritual Director

Building bridges across faith traditions.
From a young age, I was drawn to the threads of truth woven through many traditions - sitting with the mystics, studying contemplative practices, and finding the sacred in unlikely places. Interfaith spirituality isn't just what I practice professionally; it's at the core of who I am.
My path to spiritual direction began in adolescence, during a time of profound personal struggle. Therapy helped, but I found I needed something more - a companion who could meet me at the intersection of spirit, meaning, and transformation. A spiritual mentor offered exactly that. That relationship changed my life, and it's what ultimately called me to this work.
In 2025, I completed an 18-month Interfaith Spiritual Direction Certificate program at The Chaplaincy Institute, one of the most respected interfaith training institutions in the country. I also hold membership with Spiritual Directors International and am committed to ongoing supervision, personal spiritual direction, and continued growth.
I bring deep respect for all spiritual paths, a background in social psychology, and a humanistic, empathy-centered approach to every session. My role is not to guide you toward any particular destination, but to accompany you as you discover your own.
I am especially skilled at working with people who...
-
Hold an interfaith, eclectic, or SBNR spiritual identity
-
Are spiritually-seeking
-
Are navigating spiritual crisis, mystical experiences, or existential questions
-
Are healing from religious or spiritual trauma
-
Care about spirituality and mental health

Ethics and Scope of Practice
I am a member of Spiritual Directors International and
adhere to the SDI ethical guidelines. This means I am in regular spiritual direction myself, work with a supervisor, and am accountable for my ongoing growth as a practitioner. I do not provide mental health counseling or therapy - those are separate disciplines with their own trained professionals. If you need therapeutic support, I am happy to help you find a referral.
